CPP invites you to attend our workshop “Counseling to Type: Helping Students and Clients Through Individualized Career Counseling” at a university campus near you.

 

Learn to increase students' motivation by adapting counseling strategies to type preferences.  Workshop topics include:

  • Review of the MBTI® assessment
  • Counseling to the “Heart of Type”
  • Strategies for type development
  • The Z model: using all 4 type functions for career exploration
  • Case studies
 

The six-hour workshops are facilitated by either:

  • Judith Grutter, M.S., NCC, MCC, a trainer and career development program consultant with over 30 years experience. A recipient of the CCDA Lifetime Achievement and Practitioner of the Year awards and co-author of the Newly Revised Strong and MBTI® Career Report, Ms. Grutter is one of the foremost experts in the field of career counseling and assessment.   • Catherine Holmes, M.S., CPP Education Consultant, a former director of university career services, and an assessment trainer with 20 years experience in career counseling and program development. (CH)
 
The workshops are designed for career counselors and academic advisors who support college and high school students, as well as all practitioners who help adults with career decisions. This program has been approved for National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) CEUs.

If you are not associated with an accredited school, or have not taken a course in tests and measurements, completion of a qualification course would still be a prerequisite to purchasing the Strong and Myers-Briggs, even if you attend this workshop.
