Product Marketing Manager - Federal Government Segment

This position is available in Washington, D.C.

We are looking for Product Marketing Manager to strategically market and increase revenues in our Federal Government segment.  You will also be responsible for The California Psychological Inventory™ (CPI™) product line.  The Product Marketing Manager will work with a team of highly motivated professionals to align go-to-market strategies with overall corporate goals. This is an opportunity for a marketing professional to combine their love of customer and market data analysis with creative and innovative ideas.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5 plus years of product marketing experience, ideally (but not necessarily) in consulting services, soft skills training, workforce solutions organizational development and career counseling,
  • demonstrated experience in marketing to the U.S. Federal Government,
  • a BA in Marketing or related field, and

  • verifiable expertise in making data-driven marketing decisions, strategic planning, and project management.

Staff Accountant

This position is available in Mountain View, CA.

We are currently seeking a talented accounting professional to join our growing organization.  CPP’s corporate culture is collaborative, employee-focused and committed to professional development. 

 

As a Staff Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare monthly journal entries related to the close process, including accruals and other recurring journal entries.
  • Review monthly results for anomalies and investigate variances.
  • Prepare analysis of components of financial statements upon request.
  • Prepare complex account reconciliations such as debt, deferred revenue, deferred rent and the main checking bank account
  • Provide the detail supporting the audit schedules for assigned accounts.
  • Oversee capitalization of fixed assets based on the capital policy. Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure that all fixed assets purchased via capital lease are properly captured on the BNA Fixed Asset system and the General Ledger     
  • Partner with and provide guidance to cost center managers on accounting for transactions.  Provide them with support for budgeting and planning.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly sales tax returns. Complete government surveys by due dates.
  • File property tax returns by due dates.

   

And you will have:

  • 4 - 5 years experience as a staff accountant and experience working with outside auditors.
  • Bachelor degree in accounting or similar level of accounting background, technical experience a must
  • Proficiency with Word and Excel; MS Access, Lawson and Cognos Finance experience helpful
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Cooperative, collaborative work style – teamwork approach
  • Problem-solving skills and self-motivating
