Get Qualified/Certified

If you have not already been approved to license "B" or "C" assessments, please complete our online qualification form.

Certain assessments published by CPP are available only to users who have appropriate training and credentials, and who adhere to the principals of proper use, including knowledge of assessments and their applications.

The classifications are based on The Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing (published by APA, AERA, and NCME and available here). The Standards is written for the professional and for the educated layperson and addresses professional and technical issues of instrument development and use in education, psychology, and employment. The letter placed next to each assessment title indicates the level of the assessment.

What is Qualification?

To apply for MBTI® Certification you must be a MBTI® Qualified Practitioner for one year, have taken a minimum of 20 hours of training on the MBTI® instrument and can demonstrate personal experience in the use of the MBTI® instrument. Other Ways To Become Qualified

This training applies to the use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Strong Interest Inventory®, FIRO-B®, and CPI 260™ assessment tools. Successful completion of one of these test-specific programs qualifies one to purchase the B-level instrument and materials upon which the training is based.
